Binance to delist four tokens after comprehensive asset review

Binance to delist four tokens after comprehensive asset review Binance to remove ALPACA, PDA, VIB

Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the delisting of four digital assets following a periodic review of its listed tokens.

As part of its commitment to upholding quality standards and ensuring regulatory compliance, Binance will remove Alpaca Finance (ALPACA), PlayDapp (PDA), Viberate (VIB), and Wing Finance (WING) from its platform on May 2, 2025, at 03:00 UTC.

Reasons for the token delisting

Binance regularly assesses its listed tokens to ensure they align with evolving industry standards and the platform’s internal benchmarks. According to the company, the decision to delist these tokens was based on several factors, including:

- Commitment of the development team and project activity

- Trading volume and liquidity

- Network stability and security

- Community engagement and transparency

- Regulatory changes and tokenomics shifts

During the most recent review, these tokens failed to meet one or more of the above criteria, prompting their removal to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading environment.

Full scope of platform changes

The delisting will affect several Binance products:

Spot trading: All ALPACA, PDA, VIB, and WING trading pairs will be removed, and open orders canceled.

Trading bots: Services will be terminated alongside spot trading — users are advised to deactivate bots in advance.

Copy trading: Relevant pairs will be removed on May 1, 2025. Unsellable balances will be transferred to users’ spot accounts.

Futures: All positions will be closed and settled on April 30, 2025. New positions cannot be opened after 08:30 UTC that day.

Margin trading and loans: All related services will be terminated by April 30.

Mining pool: Support will end on April 30, with final payouts issued the following day.

Simple Earn, Dual Investment, Convert, Pay, and Gift Cards will gradually stop supporting these assets between April 25 and May 2.

Key dates

- Withdrawals for these tokens will be supported until July 4, 2025.

- Deposits will no longer be credited after May 3, 2025.

- Possible conversion to stablecoins may occur after July 5.

Binance advises all users to close positions, redeem rewards, and transfer assets before the deadlines to avoid potential losses. The company reaffirms its dedication to a secure, compliant, and sustainable crypto environment.

Previously, Binance also announced upcoming changes to deposit and withdrawal procedures for users in South Africa.
