Gemini to list XRP token

Gemini, the Winklevoss Brothers' cryptocurrency exchange, has announced support for the XRP Ledger (XRP).
Gemini clients can now trade XRP on the API/FIX and ActiveTrader apps in USD pairs, as well as on the exchange's mobile app and website in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, HKD, and SGD pairs.
"Adding XRP Ledger to our list of supported crypto networks is an important step on our mission to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom," Gemini said on its website.
The decision to relist the XRP token follows Ripple's recent court victory against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Notably, Gemini is the first exchange to state support for the token. Previously, Coinbase, Kraken, and Crypto.com made similar announcements.
Nevertheless, traders and investors are advised to exercise caution, as institutional sales of XRP may still violate securities regulations.
With the addition of the XRP Ledger, Gemini now supports 13 blockchain networks, including: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Polkadot (DOT), Avalanche (AVAX), Cosmos (ATOM), Zcash (ZEC), Filecoin (FIL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Tezos (XTZ).
