Polkadot offers fully funded blockchain courses for 100 students in Lucerne

After a two-year hiatus, the Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) has announced the resumption of its training program at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland).
This new Polkadot initiative follows the establishment of the Blockchain Research Institute at the university. The PBA courses will last approximately three weeks and will focus on two main tracks.
Protocol (on-chain): This track will emphasize foundational aspects of Polkadot’s architecture and blockchain design.
Dapps (off-chain): This track aims to meet the growing demand for decentralized application development.
The courses will be led by renowned developers under the guidance of Polkadot co-founder and visionary Dr. Gavin Wood. PBA promises a strong emphasis on the practical application of knowledge, ensuring students can immediately implement their learning.
Basic preparation required
The number of participants will be limited to approximately 100, all of whom will need to undergo an interview, pass a blockchain fundamentals exam, and complete a programming task.
To support preparation, the Polkadot Academy offers sessions through its online school, PBA-X. Additionally, selected candidates will receive funding for the courses, accommodation, and partial meals, significantly lowering the financial barrier to gaining this in-demand specialization.
The Blockchain Association, a lobbying group comprising over 100 member organizations, has sent a letter to Donald Trump outlining key steps the U.S. president could take to support the crypto industry during the first 100 days of his administration.
