Bitso, a cryptocurrency exchange focused on Mexico and Latin America, has announced support for the Tron network and USDT transactions.

"Until now, our users could only make deposits and withdrawals of USDT on the Ethereum network. While Ethereum is a robust and popular network, it has also experienced congestion and high transaction costs due to its growing demand," the exchange said in a press release.

Bitso's solution aims to provide its users in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia with a faster and less costly way to transact with USDT stablecoin.

In addition, the press release states that Bitso has added an order book for USDT/USDC pairs, making it easier to convert between stablecoins and offering a wide variety of offers.

"The Tron network is known for its speed and efficiency, and with this integration, USDT transactions will be confirmed in seconds, allowing our clients to take full advantage of market opportunities with significantly lower transaction fees," said Andrés Salcedo, Bitso's Head of Crypto.

The cryptocurrency exchange said it will continue to innovate and provide its clients with the best solutions in cryptotechnology.

Earlier, Binance opened access to a cryptocurrency payment service for Brazilian users.
