Bitcoin hits $100,000, just as Anton Kharitonov predicted

Bitcoin's price has reached an all-time high, surpassing the $100,000 mark. Back in October, this milestone was forecasted by Traders Union analyst Anton Kharitonov.
He reminded his followers about this prediction on his Telegram channel.
"It finally happened—the moment all crypto enthusiasts were waiting for: Bitcoin has crossed $100,000! Let me remind you, I predicted this explosive growth back in October when Bitcoin was trading at $67,000 and had been stagnant for over six months," the trader wrote.
The main cryptocurrency began its rapid ascent in November, and in a month its price skyrocketed from $67,000 to a six-digit figure.
Historically, Bitcoin's strongest gains have been in October, but according to Kharitonov, many factors pointed to delayed growth this year.
What Anton Kharitonov predicted
In late October, Anton Kharitonov, a Traders Union analyst, stated that Bitcoin's price would surpass $100,000 "within the next three months."
He cited several reasons, including the U.S. Federal Reserve's plans to lower interest rates. Additionally, institutional investors were heavily investing in Bitcoin ETFs, further supporting the cryptocurrency's growth.
Finally, the improving financial condition of miners bolstered the case for a bullish trend. All these factors came together, leading Bitcoin to break its historical record.
What’s next for the market
Kharitonov believes the hype surrounding Bitcoin will continue to grow, triggering a bullish trend in the altcoin market.
"FOMO is taking over, and retail investors are rushing to buy BTC, followed by altcoins," he wrote.
According to Kharitonov, the growth rate of Bitcoin and altcoins is set to accelerate significantly. By the second half of 2025, he predicts Bitcoin could reach $200,000.
Factors like the liberalization of cryptocurrency regulations under U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration, increased capital inflows into Bitcoin ETFs and related products, and upcoming Federal Reserve rate cuts are expected to drive further growth.
However, even $200,000 is not the ceiling for Bitcoin’s price. According to one of Kharitonov’s long-term forecasts, BTC could surpass $1 million by 2030.
