OKX and Circle implement advanced USDC technology in OKX Wallet
Cryptocurrency exchange OKX and stablecoin issuer Circle have partnered to implement USDC functionality in the OKX wallet and OKX DEX aggregator.
OKX's DEX aggregator will be integrated with Circle's cross-chain protocol and will enable cross-chain USDC swaps between Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and OP Mainnet.
OKX noted that as new CCTP routes become available, the OKX DEX aggregator will support additional blockchains for USDC cross-chain functionality.
"The integration of the OKX DEX aggregator with Circle's CCTP, a permissionless on-chain utility that enables USDC to move natively between blockchains, provides a more streamlined experience for users trading USDC pairs," the exchange said in a statement.
As part of the partnership, the exchange has launched a promotion that will allow OKX Wallet smart account users to pay no transaction fees when trading USDC between September 7 and October 5.
