FIFA Rivals combines the branding power of the world’s biggest football organization with fast-paced, accessible gameplay. Players can build their dream teams using top clubs and star players, compete in real-time matches, and trade player cards as NFTs via the Mythical Marketplace.
“FIFA Rivals is a celebration of the world’s passion for football in a fresh and modern way,” said John Linden, co-founder and CEO of Mythical Games. He added that Adidas' involvement “gives players a deeper cultural connection and the chance to represent one of the most iconic brands in football—both on and off the pitch.”
Mythical Games previously launched NFL Rivals, an officially licensed American football game featuring player cards minted as NFTs on the Mythos Chain, a Polkadot-based blockchain network. Now, soccer fans can enjoy a similar experience.
