Binance announces a new Chief Marketing Officer
Crypto exchange Binance has announced the appointment of Rachel Conlan as the company's Chief Marketing Officer.
She previously served as Vice President of Global Marketing. In her new role, Conlan will oversee Binance's global marketing and branding efforts. In addition, she will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the company's partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to attract new entrants to the world of cryptocurrency and Web3, Binance commented.
"Rachel has demonstrated that she is a strong leader who leads with integrity and uses top of mind. She is quick on her feet and able to look at challenges and opportunities with diverse perspectives that account for different aspects of the business. She understands how crypto is an effective tool to improve lives, and she leads marketing efforts with an inclusive mindset. This is the mindset that will help us reach the next billion users and drive adoption. We are excited to welcome her into this new role alongside our renewed leadership team, who are championing our shared mission," said Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance.
In addition, Rachel will continue campaigns with Cristiano Ronaldo, The Weeknd, and Alpine Formula 1, as well as look to recruit world-class marketing talent to the team.
It's worth noting that Conlan's promotion follows the recent appointments of a number of senior executives, including Eleanor Hughes as General Counsel, Kristen Hecht as Deputy Chief Compliance and Global Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Min Lin as Head of Latin America, and Richard Teng as Head of Regional Markets.
All of this indicates that Binance is looking to build a strong new team that can lead the company to new heights and ultimately cement it as a global leader in the crypto industry.
