Ondo Finance strengthens RWA strategy by buying Oasis Pro broker

Blockchain platform Ondo Finance has announced the acquisition of Oasis Pro, a broker-dealer platform regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Ondo confirmed that the acquisition marks a major step in its strategy to expand its presence in real-world assets (RWA) through tokenized equities.
Founded in 2019, Oasis Pro has been a FINRA member since 2020 and provides the necessary infrastructure for the issuance and trading of tokenized securities.
This acquisition gives Ondo Finance access to the licenses and infrastructure required to bring tokenized stocks to the U.S. market. Regulated by both the SEC and FINRA, Oasis Pro qualifies as a compliant broker-dealer, alternative trading system (ATS), and transfer agent.
Ondo Finance aims for RWA market dominance
According to Crypto.news, Oasis Pro is one of the first U.S.-regulated ATS platforms approved to settle digital securities in both fiat currencies and stablecoins. The platform has also worked with the FINRA cryptocurrency task force, helping to shape the evolving regulatory framework for asset tokenization in the United States.
“This acquisition combines our broker-dealer platform and licenses with Ondo’s institutional infrastructure and products, providing a comprehensive foundation for a regulated tokenized securities ecosystem,” said Oasis Pro CEO Pat LaVecchia.
LaVecchia is expected to join the Ondo team and lead efforts to develop a compliant and efficient digital asset infrastructure.
According to rwa.xyz, the total value of tokenized real-world assets on-chain currently stands at $24.79 billion, with Ondo’s tokenized portfolio exceeding $1.4 billion. Analysts project the RWA market to surpass $18 trillion by 2033.
Ondo is expected to launch tokenized stocks for non-U.S. investors in the coming months.
