Galaxy Digital and Fireblocks partner to expand institutional staking access

Galaxy Digital and Fireblocks partner to expand institutional staking access Galaxy offers secure staking tools

Galaxy Digital, a leading provider of digital asset and financial services, has announced a strategic partnership with Fireblocks aimed at expanding access to its staking platform. The integration is designed to simplify staking for institutional clients by offering secure, direct connectivity through Fireblocks’ trusted custody infrastructure.

With more than 2,000 financial institutions already using Fireblocks to safeguard digital assets, the new collaboration enables them to access Galaxy’s staking services directly from their Fireblocks vaults—without having to move assets off-platform, according to the company’s website. At the same time, institutions benefit from Galaxy’s high-performance validator infrastructure, while remaining fully compliant with regulatory and security standards.

“This Fireblocks integration represents a significant step forward in Galaxy’s mission to deliver secure and capital-efficient staking where institutions custody their digital assets,” said Zane Glauber, Head of Blockchain Infrastructure at Galaxy.

Institutional reach and custodial integrations expand in 2025

The partnership reflects Galaxy’s strategic goal of bridging traditional finance (TradFi) and blockchain. With approximately $3.15 billion in assets under stake, the firm continues to grow its infrastructure through key custodial integrations. The Fireblocks agreement marks Galaxy’s third major integration in 2025, following similar partnerships with Zodia Custody and BitGo, and highlights its commitment to delivering institutional-grade solutions.

Beyond expanding access, the integration improves operational efficiency—lowering technical barriers, streamlining staking participation, improving portfolio management, and enabling access to Galaxy’s trading and lending services.

A new chapter in institutional blockchain adoption

Adam Levine, SVP of Corporate Development at Fireblocks, stated:

“Integrating Galaxy’s institutional staking solution into the Fireblocks Network meaningfully enhances our secure and seamless staking offering.”

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the evolution of crypto infrastructure. As regulatory clarity improves and platforms like Galaxy Digital and Fireblocks set new industry standards, staking is becoming a central pillar of institutional strategies for digital assets—uniting traditional capital markets with a decentralized future.
