Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has clarified the procedures for users looking to transfer their accounts under the Traders Union referral group, a request that has seen rising interest as more traders seek to benefit from loyalty programs and exclusive cashback offers tied to specific affiliate partnerships.
The OKX Affiliates announcement outlines two key pathways depending on how the user initially registered on the platform.
Two scenarios: With and without referral links
1. Users who registered without any referral link can request a transfer by filling out a simple form:
• Visit the form
• Input your OKX UID
• Enter the referral code: 6679295
• Upload a screenshot of your profile settings (as shown in the form)
If eligible, the transfer is typically processed within one week. If not confirmed within two weeks, it likely means the account is already associated with another referral group and thus ineligible for reassignment.
2. For users already registered under a referral link, OKX provides two alternative options:
• Delete the current account, wait 30 days, and re-register using the same KYC details
• Open a new account using the KYC data of a close relative
This policy allows users to realign their accounts in order to take advantage of improved rebate structures, analytics tools, and trading benefits offered through the Traders Union affiliate network.
