Cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex has informed its users about the delisting of eight altcoins from its trading platform.
The tokens to be delisted are BTSE (BTSE), Callisto Network (CLO), DigiByte (DGB), MobileCoin (MOB), Harmony (ONE), PlanetWatch (PLANETS), Rootstock BTC (RBTC), and LayerAI (LAI).
According to details published by BitcoinSistemi, this decision by Bitfinex to exclude 8 tokens from the list of available assets is primarily due to the exchange's desire to provide a better trading experience for its users as well as to reduce the potential risks associated with trading illiquid assets.
As of 4:30 a.m. ET on November 9, 2023, the aforementioned tokens will no longer be available for trading or purchase.
Bitfinex strongly recommends that clients cancel all open orders for these tokens before this date. Any remaining open orders will be automatically canceled by the system.
At the same time, the cryptocurrency exchange notes that the withdrawal of these tokens will be open until 4:30 a.m. (ET time) on January 2, 2024.
