Uphold announces winner of October 20,000 XRP draw
Cryptocurrency exchange Uphold has announced the winner of its October promotion, who received 20,000 XRP.
A crypto trader nicknamed Donald Z. from the U.S. state of Oregon is the winner of Uphold's October XRP sweepstakes, the exchange announced on its X (Twitter) page.

It's worth noting that the promotion originally offered a chance to win 10,000 XRP for a matching $20 transaction on the platform, but Uphold doubled the amount after partnering with Ripple.
As the contest has gained immense popularity among traders, the cryptocurrency exchange has decided to increase the reward amount in the November promotion, which is running as part of an ongoing campaign.
"This November, we are giving away a staggering 50,000 XRP to one lucky trader! For every $20 of eligible trades you make on our platform, you will be eligible to enter the draw. This means that the more you trade, the better your chances of winning!" the exchange said in a statement.
In addition, Uphold points out that a $20 trade will only count if the potential participant has agreed to participate in the draw.
The event is only open to U.S. residents, with the exception of the states of New York and Florida.
