Ethereum projects join forces to launch MEV blocker

MEV-Blocker, a new tool developed by well-known Ethereum projects, will be used to counter MEV attacks.
It was developed by specialists from DEX CoW Swap, Agnostic Relay and Beaver Build. Users can use the application to get a free RPC point. The developers explained that RPC compensates users for defending against attacks in a wide range of DeFi, NFT, and dapps applications.
According to Forklog, about 30 well-known Ethereum projects are participating, including Gelato, Balancer, 1inch, Gnosis DAO, bloXroute, Safe, Paraswap and ZeroMEV.
The tool was created in response to a fraudulent attack on the Ethereum network, in which an attacker replaced normal MEV bot transactions with malicious ones and stole more than $25 million.
"The MEV Blocker routes all transactions through a structured network to block frontrunning and sandwich attacks," the developers said in a joint statement.
Search services then compete for the opportunity to backrun incoming tool transactions. In the end, the user gets 90% of the revenue generated, with the rest going to the validators.
MEV-Blocker sends transaction packets to all major blockbuilders, including Blocknative, Builder0x69, bloXroute, Flashbots, rsync builder, and Beaver Build.
