Bitget Turkey launches instant TRY to crypto conversion

The Turkish division of cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has announced that it has expanded support for instant conversion of Lira to USDT and BTC on its platform in order to increase trading opportunities for its clients.
The solution will allow users from Turkey to fund their accounts in lira (TRY) via bank transfers, which will be available for instant conversion through the Easy Buy & Sell feature.
It will also allow cryptocurrency conversions without having to check against order books, ensuring smooth and consistent processes as well as ease of use of cryptocurrency products localized for the region, according to Bitget's official website.
"Bitget's cash conversion feature allows users to deposit Turkish Liras into their Bitget account, which can be used to instantly buy or sell cryptocurrencies," the exchange said in an announcement.
The exchange notes that the cash conversion refers to the amount of fiat money stored in the user's local currency in the exchange account. These funds are available for trading immediately, without having to wait for funds to be credited or transferred.
"We want to provide easy ways to buy and sell cryptocurrencies to accelerate their wide adoption. At Bitget, we tailor our products to meet the needs of our users. The addition of instant cash conversion is in line with our plans to offer localized cryptocurrency products in Turkey," said Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget.
To reward the first users of the Bitget Turkey platform who take advantage of this service, the exchange has launched a special offer. All users who buy any cryptocurrency worth more than 50 USDT in TRY via Easy Buy/Sell will receive $10 bonus funds, and accounts that transfer cryptocurrency from Bitget Turkey to Bitget will receive an additional $5.
The launch of the new fiat-related feature follows Bitget's earlier announcement to expand support for seven Middle Eastern fiat currencies for its P2P service, as well as the opening of a dedicated Euro-Fiat gateway for institutional clients.
All of these actions underscore Bitget's commitment to making cryptocurrency more accessible to all, as well as its user-centric approach.
