Virtuals strengthens Ronin ecosystem with new AI agent Jaihoz

Virtuals strengthens Ronin ecosystem with new AI agent Jaihoz Virtuals Protocol's JAIHOZ token fuels AI ecosystem growth

Virtuals Protocol, a platform integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with decentralized ecosystems, aims to simplify the creation and deployment of AI agents.

These agents, capable of operating both on blockchain and in digital environments, can take on roles as social media influencers, onchain traders, or in-game non-playable characters (NPCs), according to a blog post by Ronin.

The Jaihoz product and its features

A key product of this collaboration is Jaihoz, an AI agent modeled after Jeffrey Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis, the studio behind Axie Infinity. Reports indicate that Jaihoz reproduces key aspects of Zirlin’s online persona while adding layers of autonomy and unique traits. By interacting with users on social media and Ronin’s platform, Jaihoz represents a new format of decentralized engagement with AI. However, it remains unclear how beneficial these interactions will be and whether they will lead to meaningful user engagement.

The $JAIHOZ token and airdrop

At the center of this initiative is the $JAIHOZ token, a digital asset distributed across the Ronin and Base blockchains. With a total supply of 1 billion tokens, $JAIHOZ plays a crucial role in incentivizing user participation. As part of the project’s promotion, over 100,000 crypto wallets connected to the Ronin and Virtuals communities received an airdrop of the token.

Airdrop recipients were selected based on specific conditions and snapshot dates. The recipients included holders of prominent NFTs such as Cyberkongz Genkai and Moki Genesis, as well as Ronin stakers and guild participants. While this distribution aims to increase engagement with the AI agent ecosystem, the long-term effectiveness of this strategy remains uncertain.

Strategic plans and outlook

The partnership with Virtuals Protocol is a strategic move by Ronin to diversify its blockchain applications beyond gaming. By early 2025, the platform aims to become a hub for innovative blockchain projects. Virtuals Protocol's focus on AI agents underscores the potential of integrating artificial intelligence into decentralized applications.

However, questions remain about whether this ambitious initiative can meet the expectations of the crypto community. As the popularity of AI agents grows, the success of projects like Jaihoz could set new standards for partnerships between blockchain ecosystems and AI platforms.
