Bitget Wallet has announced the upcoming launch of its own BWB token. The number of users of the Bitget crypto platform's non-custodial wallet has now reached 12 million people worldwide.

The Bitget platform released a video hinting at the imminent launch of BWB. This information was also confirmed by Wu Blockchain in X: "The official Twitter account of non-custodial Bitget Wallet has published a video announcing that the platform token BWB may be launched this month."

According to his information, Bitget Wallet plans to use BWB for vampire attacks on popular Web3 wallets, especially MetaMask. With this decision, Bitget Wallet is positioning itself as a major player in the crypto industry.

Wu Blockchain advised users that the launch of BWB could happen as early as this month.

What is known? The BWB token will have the look and feel of the Bitget brand logo and Bitget Wallet. This conclusion is drawn from a video published by the cryptocurrency exchange.

Bitget Wallet users received the news with optimism, writing in the comments of the post that they are looking forward to the launch of BWB.

Bitget Wallet is constantly improving. It originated last March when cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform Bitget invested $30 million in BitKeep, acquiring a controlling stake. BitKeep has since been transformed and rebranded, becoming Bitget Wallet in August.

The launch of Bitget's own token reaffirms the exchange's commitment to protecting users and providing a comfortable trading environment.

Following the company's February report that its user base had grown to 25 million and its reserve fund to a record $424 million, client and investor confidence is on the rise. The platform's new initiatives speak to the advancement of the company's efforts as a trusted industry leader that ensures users are protected from potential threats in the crypto landscape.

In the midst of the cryptocurrency exchange's announcement, the BGB token rebounded after a significant drop.

At the time of writing, the BGB cryptocurrency was trading around $0.90, a change of -0.2% overnight, with a market capitalization of $1.26 billion.
