Gracy Chen appointed CEO of Bitget

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has announced the appointment of Gracy Chen as CEO, effective May 2024.
She will succeed Sandra Lu, who is leaving the company to pursue her own business goals. With over 10 years of experience in business management, marketing, and investment, Gracy Chen has proven herself to be one of the top businesswomen in the cryptocurrency world.
In June 2022, Gracy joined the Bitget team as Managing Director, taking on the global expansion and strengthening of the company, according to PR Newswire.
The successful implementation of her partnership strategy with legendary soccer player Leo Messi has helped Bitget quadruple its user base and propelled the company into the top 5 best cryptocurrency exchanges and Web3 platforms.
"I am honored to take on the role of CEO of Bitget. Over the past six years, Bitget has grown into a leading crypto platform thanks to a solid foundation and an incredible team. We are constantly innovating our products and creating a better experience for our 25 million users, making Bitget one of the top futures and spot trading platforms. I look forward to continuing to shape this industry at the forefront of innovation and taking our global expansion to the next level," said Gracy Chen.
It's worth noting that Gracy Chen actively supports diversity and inclusion in the crypto industry by leading corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives at Bitget. For example, the Blockchain4Youth initiative was launched in May 2023 with the main goal of introducing Web3 and inspiring the younger generation to use cryptocurrency and blockchain.
In addition, through Blockchain4Her, Gracy aims to increase inclusivity and gender diversity in the blockchain industry, thereby ensuring equal opportunities for women.
At the same time, Gracy Chen is actively involved in the popularization of cryptocurrencies, publishing articles for Forbes and Cointelegraph. She was also elected to the Forbes Business Council in 2023.
