KuCoin hack: How it affected exchange clients

The cryptocurrency exchange announced that its Twitter social network page was hacked by fraudsters, causing some users to lose part of their funds.
On April 24, between 00:00 and 00:45 (UTC+2), fake information was released on the KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange's Twitter account, resulting in 22 transactions.
According to KuCoin's Twitter feed, users lost $22,628 as a result of these transactions related to the fake activity.
The cryptocurrency exchange said it has launched an investigation into the incident, which will result in the verification and, if necessary, blocking of all suspicious addresses.
KuCoin also promised to compensate all losses to users affected by the hack and to increase the level of protection on its social networks.
The KuCoin exchange is one of the largest exchanges with high trading volumes, offering its users access to all major cryptocurrencies and tokens. Another feature of the site is the availability of leverage up to x100, allowing clients to significantly boost their profits.
