HTX to support Terra and Sei Network upgrades

HTX, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its support for upcoming network upgrades for Terra (LUNA) and Sei Network (SEI). The exchange will suspend deposit and withdrawal services for these cryptocurrencies to facilitate the upgrades.
HTX is set to support the imminent network upgrades for Terra (LUNA) and Sei Network (SEI). This move underscores the exchange's commitment to maintaining a robust and secure trading environment for its users.
Upgrade schedule:
- The Terra (LUNA) network upgrade will occur at block height 11550000, which is estimated to be around 14:14 (UTC) on August 8, 2024.
- The Sei Network (SEI) upgrade will happen at block height 94496767, expected around 21:00 (UTC) on August 8, 2024.
The suspension of LUNA deposit and withdrawal services will begin at 12:00 (UTC), while SEI services will halt at 19:00 (UTC) on the same day. HTX has advised users to deposit their LUNA and SEI tokens before these times to avoid any inconvenience.
Terra is an open source blockchain that hosts a vibrant ecosystem of decentralized applications (dApps) and best-in-class developer tools. Using proof-of-stake consensus and groundbreaking technologies like Mantlemint, Terrain, and Station, the Terra blockchain is one of the fastest chains in existence.
The Sei blockchain is designed to provide high-speed processing that's ideal for scaling decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, including trading platforms, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), NFT marketplaces, and Web3 games with in-game financial transactions.
Throughout the upgrade process, trading for both LUNA and SEI will continue uninterrupted, ensuring that market activities remain unaffected. Importantly, these upgrades will not lead to the creation of new tokens. HTX will resume deposit and withdrawal services for LUNA and SEI once the upgraded networks are deemed stable.
Looking ahead, the successful implementation of these upgrades could bolster user confidence and drive increased adoption of these networks.
