Crypto exchange Bitget secures ISO certification

Bitget, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has achieved ISO certification, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to security and quality assurance.
The exchange has published a blog post on achieving ISO 27001:2022 certification, further solidifying its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security.
ISO 27001:2022 is the latest iteration of the ISO 27001 standard from the International Standard Organization (ISO), offering an updated framework for establishing, implementing, and continually improving Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
For Bitget's clients and partners, this certification provides enhanced trust and confidence in the platform's ability to protect their data.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, emphasized the importance of this achievement, stating, "Securing ISO 27001:2022 certification is a testament to the high security standards we uphold within the Bitget ecosystem. This certification reflects our unwavering commitment to information security and risk management."
Bitget's commitment to security extends beyond certification. The platform maintains a Proof-of-Reserves system, ensuring that user assets are backed by a reserve ratio of at least 1:1. This solution allows users to independently verify reserves through Bitget's open-source verification tool, MerkleValidator, available on GitHub. Additionally, Bitget has established a Protection Fund exceeding $300 million, the second-largest in the industry.
Looking ahead, Bitget’s ISO 27001:2022 certification and its robust security measures are expected to bolster its reputation and set a standard for other exchanges.
