KuCoin completes 2nd stage of spot market token reclassification
KuCoin has successfully completed the second phase of its spot market token reclassification. This initiative is part of the exchange's strategy to provide greater clarity and transparency in how digital assets are categorized on its platform.
According to the latest announcement, the exchange has successfully completed the second phase of token reclassification. This process, which took place from August 23, 2024, to September 15, 2024, is part of KuCoin’s activities to refine its platform by periodically reviewing the classification of tokens listed on its exchange.
The second stage of reclassification follows the successful completion of the first one and is part of a larger, ongoing initiative by KuCoin to ensure that its platform remains user-friendly, transparent, and aligned with the evolving crypto market.
Classification criteria include the commitment of the project team, the level and quality of development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network stability and security, and the project's responsiveness to due diligence requests. In addition, the exchange considers each project's contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem and any evidence of unethical or fraudulent behavior.
The results of the adjustments will be displayed on the Fees & VIP page.
The third batch of tokens to be adjusted includes:
- OGV, NRN, WOOP, MXC, GST, FORT, SEAM, ZKJ ,DSLA, EUL, DPR, PSTAKE, OUSD, GODS, KALT, BIIS, NOM, PBR, ETHW, KACE, DOVI, ZOOA, SLIM, UNA, PYUSD, ARC, STORE, SWEAT, FORWARD, PIT, GAFI, RANKER, ALEPH, TURT, HBB, VOLT, GMM, RBP, NGC, LOOKS, PRE, NGL, XPRT, ACQ, CWS, GARI, CWAR, BLUR, RAY, and GTAI.
These changes are set to take effect on August 30, 2024, between 08:00 and 09:00 (UTC).
