The fintech company Revolut has introduced its new Revolut Terminal in the UK and Ireland. This point-of-sale (POS) device is designed to meet the demand for fast and reliable payment processing, with pre-orders opening in the UK from October 14 and starting in Ireland in November.

Revolut Terminal provides businesses with an optimized solution, boasting 99.9% uptime to ensure uninterrupted service even during peak periods. The device is equipped with built-in WiFi and SIM capabilities, and its battery lasts all day, allowing for seamless transactions without downtime. The Terminal is available through an exclusive pre-sale for Revolut Business customers

at a reduced price of £129 + tax, down from £169 + tax, making it accessible in the high-demand retail season with events like Black Friday and Christmas approaching.

The Revolut Terminal features Revolut Pay, a unique payment option allowing Revolut app users to make direct payments and earn RevPoints—Revolut’s loyalty program points. Customers can redeem these points for discounts with no additional cost to merchants. Additionally, Revolut Pay offers lower transaction fees at just 0.5% + £0.02, making it a competitive option for businesses looking to reduce operational expenses.

This all-in-one solution integrates seamlessly with Revolut Business software, providing clients with advanced analytics, table mapping, multi-location management, and customer catalogues, according to Fintech Finance. This feature aids in cash flow management, with funds available within 24 hours, and streamlines expense management without the need for multiple service providers.

The latest launch follows Revolut’s recent announcement of surpassing $500 million in annual revenue globally, as the company increases its focus on B2B offerings and invests in innovative products.

“Revolut Terminal is a reliable POS solution ready to handle high customer demand, especially with Black Friday approaching. We’re pleased to offer it at a reduced rate, providing reliable payment solutions for our business clients,” stated Alex Codina, General Manager of Acquiring at Revolut.

This launch underscores Revolut’s commitment to the hospitality and retail sectors as it expands its acquiring capabilities. “Revolut Terminal is our latest investment in business clients, allowing merchants to accept payments directly into their Revolut accounts without relying on multiple providers,” emphasized James Gibson, General Manager of Revolut Business.

As Revolut continues to expand its B2B services, the Revolut Terminal promises to be a valuable asset for businesses looking to optimize payment processes and increase customer satisfaction.
