LIVE Trader is a contest organized by Dukascopy between community members on special LIVE Contest accounts for manual and automated trading.
The contest is won and rewarded by the participants who made the highest profit according to the results of the trading week.
As part of the contest, the brokerage company distributes 1,500 USD among the winners each week. The best trader gets 500 USD, and the next 19 winners get 250 USD, 100 USD, 90 USD, 80 USD, 70 USD, etc.
According to the results of the week that ended on January 19, the winner of the contest was kutlu from Turkey, who received $500; second place and $250 went to Marilu from Germany; and third place and $100 went to nikolai from Bulgaria.
After the results of the contest are announced, the winning amount will be credited to the winner's account without any conditions or locking.
BASIC RULES OF THE CONTEST:
• Trades will be made on real accounts.
• A new contest is held every week from Friday 21:01/22:01 GMT to Friday 21:00/22:00 GMT (summer/winter time).
• Trading is possible only on the JForex platforms of Dukascopy Bank (desktop, Android, and iOS versions).
• It is possible to trade both manually and automatically (using strategies).
• After starting trading on the account, participants will not be able to make withdrawals, as they will be excluded from the contest for the whole week.
• Live contest accounts are subject to the same trading conditions (including margin requirements) as regular LIVE accounts.
Prizes will be distributed to the best-performing participants only in cases of positive trading results.
The prize fund of 1,500 USD will be distributed among 20 winners:
• 1st place - 500 USD;
• 2nd place - 250 USD;
• 3rd-4th place - 100 USD;
• 5th place - 90 USD;
• 6th place - 80 USD;
• 7th place - 70 USD;
• 8th place - 60 USD;
• 9th place - 50 USD;
• 10th place - 40 USD;
• 11th place - 30 USD;
• 12th-15th place - 20 USD;
• 16-20 places - 10 USD.
Prizes will be credited to the winners' trading accounts. If the account currency is not USD, Dukascopy Bank will convert the rewards into the account currency.
