Broker IC Markets and payment platform Paysafe have announced the expansion of their collaboration in Latin America.
The partnership, which was signed in 2018, has facilitated the integration of IC Markets with Paysafe's payment API. This has allowed the broker to offer its clients in Europe a wider range of payment options, from digital wallets to local payment methods.
The expanded agreement will allow IC Markets' traders in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, and Peru to access a variety of Paysafe payment methods to fund their forex trading accounts, including digital wallets such as Skrill and NETELLER, MarketScreener reported.
Latin America has recently experienced a high rate of digitization, which has spurred the development of many industries related to online services, including electronic payments. As a result, the region is a key area for many brokers offering retail forex services.
