​ATFX UK has approved Chris James, a former member of the Currenex State Street team, as the new head of its liquidity management team.

In fact, the LinkedIn profile of Chris James shows that he assumed the new position at AFTX UK last month.

Earlier, James’ work at Currenex involved ensuring  that buy-side and sell-side clients get optimal liquidity. James described his former work at Currenex, as the “a client facing role which involves developing and maintaining relationships across the FX space with tier 1 banks, regional banks and non-bank participants alike.”

Before joining Currenex, he worked at Alpari UK, where he was a Senior Trader for over six and a half years. As part of his duties, James helped to process clients’ transactions via MT4 platform.

In the period between 2001 and 2008, James worked as a clerk at Deutsche Bank, as a Senior Derivatives Dealer at Henyep Investment (UK) Limited and as the Bank’s Reconciliation’s Administrator at Fidelity Investments.
