ATFX Connect boosts institutional reach with new FX partner

ATFX Connect, the institutional division of global brokerage ATFX Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Standard Chartered Bank, which has become the company’s second provider of Prime Brokerage services for foreign exchange (FX) operations.
According to the statement, this collaboration will significantly enhance ATFX Connect’s capabilities and strengthen its institutional offering.
The partnership includes the integration of Standard Chartered’s well-established Prime Brokerage services into ATFX Connect’s liquidity infrastructure, granting a broader range of clients access to high-quality brokerage solutions.
Agency model and executive commentary
The collaboration underscores the institutional arm of ATFX’s commitment to advancing a transparent agency model with direct market access—an approach that continues to gain recognition among institutional participants.
Wei Qiang Zhang, Managing Director of ATFX Connect, commented:
“As we expand our FX prime brokerage services, we are committed to enhancing market access for our institutional clients. The transparent, direct market access agency model we provide enables clients to trade on top-tier liquidity. The addition of Standard Chartered Bank’s prime brokerage services perfectly complements our existing relationships and offerings.”
Strategic goals and market impact
The aim of the partnership is to deliver best-in-class trading solutions by leveraging Standard Chartered’s global reputation and extensive FX network. This will allow ATFX Connect to offer more competitive liquidity while ensuring reliability and stability under high trading volumes.
The addition of a second prime broker is seen as a strategic measure to diversify counterparties and reduce operational risk. This step also reflects the growing demand for tailored institutional solutions within the FX sector, and the partnership with Standard Chartered marks a key milestone in reinforcing ATFX Connect’s position in the FX space.
