Dukascopy Bank exposes fake website targeting its clients

Dukascopy Bank SA, a Swiss online bank and financial services provider, has issued an urgent notice to clients and the general public regarding a fraudulent website impersonating the bank’s official platform.
The fake site, hosted at https://www.guaranteeswisscooperationbank.com, falsely claims affiliation with Dukascopy despite having no legitimate connection. In an official statement, the bank clarified that the domain is not owned, operated, or endorsed by any division of the Dukascopy Group — including Dukascopy Bank SA, Dukascopy Europe, and Dukascopy Japan. Users are strongly warned not to enter any personal or financial information on the fraudulent website.
Response measures and cybersecurity risks
Dukascopy has labeled the site as fraudulent and urged users to completely avoid interacting with it. Legal action is currently being taken to remove the domain. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges banks face in combating phishing schemes and brand impersonation. Such clone websites often use realistic interfaces to mislead users and steal confidential data.
User recommendations and digital service enhancements
The bank recommends that users verify the authenticity of websites before entering any data and contact customer support if they detect any suspicious online activity. Clients are also advised to follow official Dukascopy announcements via the bank’s verified websites and communication channels.
The warning comes amid recent digital developments: Dukascopy recently upgraded its JForex trading platform, expanding self-directed trading capabilities. Clients of Dukascopy Bank now have access to leverage up to 1:10, while users of Dukascopy Europe operate with a maximum leverage of 1:5, in line with local regulatory standards.
