Robinhood announced that Matt Billings has been named Vice President and President of Robinhood Financial LLC and Robinhood Securities.
In his role, Matt will focus on the company's continued development, safety, and efficiency of services to provide users with even more investment options.
According to Robinhood, Matt Billings joined the brokerage from Two Sigma Securities, where he oversaw trading and service, client relations, and market structure. Previously, he was the lead market data overseer at TD Ameritrade. In addition, Matt spent more than 10 years as head of the trading desk at Scottrade, where he was responsible for several areas, including order routing and order quality.
With more than 30 years in the industry, Matt brings a unique perspective on retail investing and the markets," said Steve Quirk, CEO of Robinhood Markets.
