Interactive Brokers has released version 0.03 of its IBKR Desktop platform.
In IBKR 0.03, traders can select a layout with multiple charts to view them simultaneously and change synchronization settings to use a different symbol, interval, crosshair display, time, and date range.
In addition, the broker says users now have the ability to view up to eight charts simultaneously, with indicators, patterns, and other overlays applied to the active (selected) chart.
There is also a new column customization feature, allowing users to add, remove, and reconfigure columns in Watchlists, Portfolios, and Option Chains.
To use this feature, click on the gear icon.
- Use "+" in the Available Columns section to move a column to the Selected Columns section.
- Use "-" under Selected Columns to remove the column from the view.
- Click, hold, and drag the three horizontal lines in Selected Columns to change their order.
The broker said that users can expect new improvements in the next updates of IBKR Desktop:

- More order types
- New product types
- Order entry with hotkeys
- Level II market depth
- Market scanners
The IBKR Desktop platform is designed for retail clients who prefer a lighter interface while offering many of the same features as TWS.
