German sandal maker Birkenstock is preparing to launch an initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) this week in what experts are already calling an "outstanding event".
Birkenstock will issue 32.3 million shares in its IPO, priced between $44 and $49 each. This means that, if successful, the company will receive approximately $1.58 billion in capital inflows.
