Retail forex and CFD broker eToro and the Australian A-League teams have entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement.
The Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women professional teams are both top-level football leagues in Australia and New Zealand.
The eToro logo, as the official trading platform of the A-League, will be featured on the back of the men's jerseys and on all substitution boards. eToro will have a strong presence on A-League channels, including digital ownership of the eToro Assist of the Month. The broker will also be mentioned in all articles about transfers and trades during the season.
According to FNG's coverage, eToro has recently been actively building its profile in Australia, with eToro being one of the largest sponsors of various sports teams and competitions among retail FX and CFD brokers worldwide.
It is worth noting that in August, the Australian financial regulator ASIC sued eToro, pointing out the high level of risk associated with CFD products. In addition, the broker attempted an IPO last year but failed.
