The broker eToro has given retail investors access to stocks of companies specializing in space technology by presenting them in the new SpaceTech portfolio.

eToro's team of experts in compiling SpaceTech has closely examined and analyzed companies that are leading the way in space exploration as well as those that are developing space technology and satellite operations in order to provide diversified investment opportunities.

According to FNG, the SpaceTech portfolio will include 30 companies such as Virgin Galactic, Airbus, Boeing, Iridium Communications, and Northrop Grumman Corp., each with a 3.33% stake.

The companies were selected based on several criteria, including market capitalization, liquidity metrics, R&D spending, and analyst ratings.

The broker notes that the list of companies included in the portfolio is updated once a year to ensure its continued relevance and optimization.

The minimum investment in the SpaceTech portfolio is $500. In addition, investors will have access to tools and charts to track the portfolio's performance.

"While retail investors cannot invest directly in NASA or SpaceX, there are other ways to capitalize on the space race. From publicly traded aerospace and defense companies to rocket and satellite manufacturers, our new SpaceTech portfolio gives our users access to an industry that is just getting started," said Dani Brinker, Head of Investment Portfolios at eToro.
