Broker Robinhood has added billions of Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens to its holdings amid a sharp drop in the asset's value.
In the past 24 hours, Robinhood's wallet assets increased from 35 million SHIB tokens to 36.454 trillion SHIB tokens, and a little later to 36.684 trillion tokens.
This was revealed in a post on X by crypto community member Lola (@CryptoLollla). She pointed out that the growth of assets in SHIB of one of the largest brokerages is confirmed by the Arkham Intelligence platform.

According to the Arkham Intelligence platform, the company's 36.684 trillion SHIB assets correspond to an amount of $350.34 million. Robinhood has thus increased its holdings by 230 billion SHIB tokens in 24 hours.
At the time of writing, the value of SHIB fell to $0.00000954, a 2.16% decline over the day.
Analysts' data confirm the version about withdrawal from exchanges and accumulation of SHIB by whales or large validators. In particular, the growth of the net flow of large holders of SHIB by 1,542% was noted, reports IntoTheBlock.
The net flow figure of token holders confirms the changes in the whales' wallets on SHIB, and the sharp spikes in the net flow become a symbol of token accumulation by large whales.
The inflow of large holders also increased by 181%, demonstrating high buying activity amid the decline in SHIB prices. Meanwhile, the whale activity index increased by 551% in the last 24 hours, with 5.9 trillion SHIBs moved by whales in large transactions.
