Broker Capital.com has suspended the registration of new clients in the UK.

New users who want to open an account with the broker will see a message that this service has been temporarily suspended at Capital Com (UK) Limited.

"We are growing rapidly as a company and want to ensure that all of our systems, controls, products, and services meet the high standards expected by our clients, management, shareholders, and regulators," the message reads.

According to Fazzaco, Capital.com did not give a reason for the registration halt or a timeline for its resumption.

Meanwhile, Capital Com (UK) Limited's license, which was issued in 2018, is marked as valid on the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) register. This means that the company can provide services in the usual manner.

At the same time, there are no restrictions on accounts, trading, or other operations for the broker's existing UK clients.

At the end of 2023, there was a change in the management of the company. Peter Hetherington has been appointed as the new CEO, and John Austin has been confirmed as the Chief Strategy Officer of Capital.com.

Capital.com is a UK-based broker offering its services to traders and investors worldwide. The company is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and the UK Financial Services Authority. Client funds are protected by compensation funds, which are held in segregated accounts in European banks.
