Worldpay, a leading global provider of payment technology, announced a strategic partnership with Markets.com, a renowned trading broker with more than 15 years of experience in various trading sectors including forex, equities and cryptocurrencies.
This collaboration aims to improve Markets.com's payment processing and issuance capabilities, providing a more optimized and secure experience for its vast user base of more than 4.7 million traders worldwide.

As part of its ongoing commitment to growth and customer satisfaction, Markets.com also announced the promotion of Elena Christodoulou to the position of Head of Europe. Since joining the company in February 2021, Christodoulou has successfully managed the DACH region from her base in Cyprus. In her new role, she will oversee the company's European operations with a focus on expanding the brand's presence, driving growth and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Christodoulou's appointment comes at a crucial time as Markets.com continues to strengthen its compliance efforts in the region. Compliance in the financial industry involves adhering to strict regulations set by government agencies, ensuring that all transactions and services meet the required standards. In his new role, Christodoulou will work closely with regional teams to customize products for European clients, ensuring that Markets.com remains at the forefront of industry compliance and innovation.
Prior to joining Markets.com, Christodoulou worked as a regional manager in Germany for Tickmill and also has experience in the hospitality industry, which has given her valuable skills in customer service and management.
