In a significant move to bolster its cybersecurity framework, Capital.com has launched a bug bounty program in collaboration with Intigriti, a leading platform in the cybersecurity industry. The initiative is aimed at identifying and addressing potential software vulnerabilities in the company's systems by incentivizing ethical hackers to discover and report them.

As online trading platforms increasingly become targets for cyber threats, Capital.com’s latest initiative underscores its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its users. The bug bounty program invites cybersecurity experts and ethical hackers from around the globe to test the platform’s defenses. In return, they are rewarded for uncovering any vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious actors, FNG informs.

The collaboration with Intigriti, a well-regarded name in the cybersecurity industry, brings an added layer of credibility and expertise to the program. Intigriti's platform connects companies with a community of ethical hackers, facilitating a proactive approach to cybersecurity. By tapping into this community, Capital.com aims to stay ahead of potential threats, ensuring that its trading platform remains secure and reliable for its users.

“At Capital.com, we take our responsibility to protect our customers seriously. By launching this public bug bounty programme, we are not only opening our doors to the brightest minds in cybersecurity but also taking active steps to stay ahead of potential threats”, Pavel Krasilevich, Head of IT Security, Capital.com, explained.

Participants in the bug bounty program are encouraged to explore and test various aspects of Capital.com’s platform. This includes identifying potential weaknesses in the software, such as security flaws, loopholes, or any other vulnerabilities that could be exploited. Once identified, these issues are reported to Capital.com through a structured process managed by Intigriti.

In return for their efforts, participants are compensated based on the severity and impact of the vulnerabilities they uncover. This model not only rewards ethical hackers for their contributions but also ensures that the most critical vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.

The launch of this program reflects Capital.com's proactive approach to cybersecurity. By leveraging the expertise of the global cybersecurity community, Capital.com is taking a significant step towards ensuring the safety of its platform and the protection of its users' data.
