Broker Vantage announced that it has been granted a derivatives trading license by the Financial Sector Supervisory Authority (FSCA) in South Africa.

The FSCA license will allow the broker to strengthen and expand its presence in Africa and provide new users with access to high quality financial services.

To strengthen its team in South Africa, Vantage has approved Ted Odighi as Head of Sales for the African continent, according to the Finance Magnates website.

"We are thrilled to receive our FSCA license. We have had our sights on South Africa for some time, and we were determined to be able to provide traders with exceptional financial services and products while operating in compliance with the highest regulatory standards," said Mark Despalliers, Chief Strategy and Trading Officer at Vantage.

We previously reported on Vantage's partnership with PayPal.

Vantage launched in 2009 and has since won many prestigious awards. The company offers its clients access to Forex currency pairs as well as CFDs on American, Australian and European stocks, commodities and indices. The broker prioritizes the security of its clients' funds, which is why traders must undergo additional checks to be able to withdraw their funds.
