Markets.com is forced to change its manager in the MENA regon

Ali Makki has officially stepped down from his role as Head of MENA at Markets.com, the renowned Retail FX and CFD broker. McKee, who joined the company in early 2024, announced his departure publicly in a statement posted on social media, expressing gratitude for his experience and announcing his plans for new ventures.
McKee is a well-known figure in the MENA trading community, having founded AlphaA Traders, a company that provides educational and analytical tools for traders in the region, FNG reports. His time at Markets.com, based in Beirut, marked an important chapter in his career, where he focused on expanding the broker's presence and services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.
In his farewell message, Mackie expressed his appreciation to the Markets.com team, especially noting his collaboration with Danny Mawas, Chief Commercial Officer. He noted the valuable knowledge and experience he gained during his time with the company and spoke fondly of the relationships he established within the organization.
“Now that I've had such an amazing journey with Markets.com, it's time for me to embark on my next adventure,” McKee wrote. “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a talented group and to work with the wonderful Dani Mavas. I will always be grateful for the wonderful moments I had there, and the experiences and information I learned were invaluable.”
McKee's departure comes at a time when the retail industry is seeing increased competition in the MENA region and Markets.com is actively working to strengthen its position in this market. His leadership at Markets.com has played a key role in expanding the broker's operations and improving its services for traders in the Middle East.
McKee has hinted at future opportunities and challenges ahead, although he has yet to announce specific details about his next move. His departure is seen as a significant transition for Markets.com as they continue to navigate the changing landscape of retail FX and CFDs trading in the MENA region.
With McKee's departure, Markets.com is expected to look for new leadership to maintain momentum and continue their growth strategy in the region.
