The Japanese division of the brokerage company OANDA has announced changes to the trading conditions for the AUD/JPY currency pair.
The margin rate for AUD/JPY will increase to 3% on May 15, 2023, at the start of trade, from 2% before.
The changes will affect corporate accounts on Tokyo and New York servers, according to the OANDA Securities website.
The broker draws the attention of its clients to the fact that if they continue to hold their positions in this currency pair after the market closes on May 13, 2023, their funds in the trading account could fall below the minimum allowable value. Therefore, OANDA Securities recommends traders reduce their positions before the deadline or make sure there is sufficient liquidity in the trading account.
