The Japanese division of broker FOREX.com warned its clients about possible fluctuations in the financial markets in connection with the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey on May 14.

It is expected that on Monday, May 15, the opening prices in financial markets will be significantly different from the closing prices on May 12, especially in Forex and in currency pairs with the Turkish Lira (TRY).

Changes in the exchange rate of the Turkish Lira (TRY) against world currencies are due to the probability of spread widening and a decrease in liquidity before the market fully stabilizes. According to the information published on FOREX.com, market fluctuations may lead to a widening of spreads on other currency pairs or a temporary stop in price action.

The broker reminds its clients that they should consider the possible risks associated with sudden fluctuations in swap points and market prices.

The broker also stated that it may widen spreads, introduce position limits and increase margin rates due to increased market volatility and reduced liquidity.

FOREX.com is a company that has earned a reputation as a reliable broker in the field of trading thanks to its transparent operation and high-quality services.
