Global broker ATFX has announced a strategic investment in Singapore-based Spark Systems, an advanced eFX trading platform serving institutional clients across Asia and worldwide. The partnership, secured through ATFX’s Series C investment in Spark Systems, aims to enhance ATFX’s institutional offerings, increase liquidity, and deliver advanced trading solutions to clients in the region. Spark Systems is highly respected in the financial technology industry, counting prominent venture capital firms and global banks, such as Citibank and HSBC, among its backers.

Through this partnership, ATFX intends to leverage Spark Systems' high-speed trading infrastructure to provide an enhanced trading experience. By integrating its proprietary ATFX Connect liquidity into the Spark Systems platform, ATFX expects to further improve its trading services. This move aligns with ATFX’s ongoing commitment to strengthen its trading infrastructure, following a series of prior investments and innovations that have established the company as a distinguished provider in this sector.

"Investing in Spark Systems aligns with our strategic vision to enhance our institutional offerings and drive innovation in the eFX space. We believe this partnership will benefit both organizations and provide our clients with improved trading solutions, especially in the Asian region," stated Joe Li, Group Chairman of ATFX.

This vision reflects ATFX’s commitment to staying at the forefront of financial technology and meeting the evolving needs of its global client base.

Founded in 2016, Spark Systems has built a solid reputation as a leading provider of eFX trading platforms. The company’s advanced technological infrastructure has attracted investments from prominent organizations and investors, including Philips Venture, Vickers Venture, Integra Ventures, FengHe, and Farquhar Venture Capital. Spark Systems is also a recipient of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s FSTI grant, underscoring its role in establishing Singapore as a financial technology hub.

“This collaboration with ATFX represents a significant step forward in achieving our mission to deliver exceptional trading solutions. Together, we will offer ATFX clients enhanced access to liquidity and advanced trading capabilities,” said Joo Seng Wong, CEO and Founder of Spark Systems.

The partnership will also enable ATFX to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific market, where demand for institutional-grade electronic currency solutions is growing. By combining ATFX’s brokerage services with Spark Systems’ high-speed trading technology, the two companies aim to offer clients improved market access and trading opportunities.

ATFX and Spark Systems plan to explore additional opportunities in the future, leveraging their combined expertise to strengthen their market positions and deliver greater value to clients worldwide. This collaboration represents a strategic step for ATFX as it broadens its footprint in the global forex market, the world’s most liquid marketplace.
