Gate Group, the operator of the Gate.io crypto exchange, has launched Gate.HK, a virtual asset trading platform that will provide Hong Kong users with high-quality virtual asset services.
Gate.HK was officially launched on May 23, offering users virtual asset deposits and withdrawals, as well as spot trading of various virtual assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC).
According to information published on Gate.io's official website, the platform will expand its services in the future with new products and services tailored to users' needs and Hong Kong regulations.
The launch of the new platform follows Gate Group's recent announcement that Gate.HK has begun preparations to apply for a license from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Previously, we wrote that Gate.io was licensed as a virtual asset provider in Italy.
The Gate.io exchange was founded in 2013 and offers its clients access to a wide range of cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets. The platform is notable for its fast deposits and withdrawals.
