Binance to delist multiple margin trading pairs on March 11

Binance to delist multiple margin trading pairs on March 11 Binance urges traders to close positions before delisting

Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the delisting of several margin trading pairs as part of its periodic adjustment of trading assets.

The affected trading pairs will be removed from the platform’s cross-margin and isolated margin options on March 11, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC), according to the exchange's official announcement.

Affected trading pairs:

Cross-Margin Pairs: CATI/FDUSD

Isolated Margin Pairs: ATA/BTC, CATI/FDUSD, XAI/FDUSD

Important deadlines and trading restrictions

As part of this transition, Binance has outlined a phased process to ensure an orderly removal of these pairs from the margin trading platform:

- Effective immediately: Users will no longer be able to manually or automatically transfer assets of the affected pairs into their Isolated Margin accounts. However, users with outstanding liabilities in these assets may manually transfer funds up to the amount of their liabilities into their Isolated Margin accounts, provided they have sufficient collateral.

- March 5, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC): Binance Margin will suspend borrowing on the affected isolated margin pairs, preventing traders from opening new leveraged positions.

- March 11, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC): Binance will automatically close all open positions, conduct a final settlement, and cancel any pending orders on the affected cross-margin and isolated margin pairs. These pairs will then be fully removed from Binance Margin.

Recommendations for traders

Binance strongly advises users to close their positions manually and transfer assets from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts before the final removal date. The exchange emphasized that it will not be responsible for any potential losses incurred due to the delisting process.

Despite the removal of these margin pairs, users will still be able to trade ATA, CATI, and XAI against other available trading pairs on Binance.

Regional availability disclaimer

Binance noted that certain products and services, including margin trading, may not be available in specific regions. The exchange also cautioned that translation discrepancies may occur, and users should refer to the official English version for the most accurate information.

From March 10, 2025, to May 9, 2025, Binance is offering an exclusive promotion for selected traders to execute commission-free trades on the spot trading pairs BNB/USDC, ETH/USDC, and SOL/USDC.
