Binance to launch Balance (EPT) on Alpha and futures trading
Binance lists EPT April 21
Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the upcoming listing of Balance (EPT) on two of its platforms — Binance Alpha and Binance Futures.
According to the announcement published on the exchange’s website, trading for EPT will begin on April 21, 2025, at 12:00 UTC on the Alpha platform. The EPT/USDT perpetual futures contract will become available one hour later, at 13:00 UTC.
Binance will be the first platform globally to list EPT simultaneously on Alpha and Futures, highlighting its commitment to the early adoption of promising blockchain projects.
To celebrate the launch, active Binance Alpha users will receive an airdrop of 3,500 EPT tokens, which will be credited to eligible accounts by 12:10 UTC on April 21.

The token giveaway is available to Binance users who made purchases via Spot or Funding accounts on Binance Alpha between April 11 and April 17, 2025 (UTC). No registration is required — eligible users will receive the tokens automatically.
About the EPT/USDT perpetual contract
The EPT/USDT perpetual contract will offer up to 20x leverage and will be settled in USDT. The funding rate is capped at +2.00% / -2.00%, with settlements every four hours. Trading will be available 24/7, and the contract will be added to Binance’s Futures Copy Trading program within 24 hours of its launch.
The Multi-Assets Mode feature will allow traders to use alternative margin assets, such as BTC, offering increased flexibility.
