Crypto.com highlighted the success and benefits of its sponsorship deals with Formula 1 and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which resulted in an increase in users at the expense of sports fans.

President and COO of Crypto.com, Eric Anziani, shared the impressive results of recent advertising campaigns, Cointelegraph reported.

Eric Anziani stated that the exchange has conducted research and found that its global recognition has grown after successful activities to expand awareness among sports fans. Crypto.com's brand recognition among retail cryptocurrency users has increased.

"We are pleased to have partnered with the likes of F1, UFC, Crypto.com Arena, and AEG," said the cryptocurrency exchange executive.

Eric Anziani added that it's very difficult to stay in the center of users' attention and it's hard to maintain brand awareness, but Crypto.com's investment has clearly paid off.

According to statistics, each Formula 1 race of the 2023 season was watched by an average of 1.11 million viewers from the US alone. And for the entire 2022 season, Formula One attracted more than one billion viewers.

The UFC also has a wide reach. Its fights attract the same number of viewers as Formula 1 races. The major fights sell 2.4 million pay-per-view tickets.

The Crypto.com logo is featured on the upholstery of the UFC's octagon cages, providing lucrative advertising space in this rapidly growing sport.

"Crypto.com representatives have been doing a lot of brand integration activities among fans and competitors. It's been great," says Anziani.

Sponsorship deals have played a key role in expanding Crypto.com's user base. In 2023, Crypto.com has 80 million clients, and the exchange expects to reach 100 million users in 2024.

The expansion of the exchange's presence in different countries goes hand in hand with the introduction of innovative technologies that will allow it to offer specialized services to large traders. For such clients, the Crypto.com Prime program was launched in February 2024. Access to this program is by invitation only after making a deposit of $1 million.

"For investors interested in large trades, you need ultra-low fees and high liquidity. We offered both of those basis points at the same time," Anziani said. Through the program, institutional clients received $1 million in account protection and unlimited fiat money transfers. Dedicated account managers assist with ongoing issues.

Crypto.com is among a growing number of cryptocurrency exchanges looking to reach a global audience, including through sports team sponsorships.
