Interactive Brokers has launched new High Touch Prime Brokerage and Global Outsourced Trading services designed to help select US hedge funds manage and grow their businesses.
High Touch Prime Brokerage provides qualified hedge fund clients with personalized support by offering access to a dedicated Relationship Manager who acts as a single point of contact. This manager is able to respond to inquiries, resolve issues quickly and handle ad-hoc assignments based on a deep understanding of the client's trading strategy and requirements, Business Wire reported.
Milan Galik, CEO of IBKR, said that hedge funds choose Interactive Brokers for its automated systems and advanced trading technologies that help reduce costs. However, many hedge funds prefer a single person who is familiar with their trading objectives and business strategies.
"High Touch Prime Brokerage allows Interactive Brokers to compete with large prime brokers and removes a potential barrier for hedge funds that want to move to a low-cost platform but are accustomed to personalized service," Galik said.
In addition, High Touch Prime Brokerage gives clients access to Interactive Brokers' risk, compliance, securities lending, corporate actions, tax, clearing, transfers, and proxy experts.
Hedge funds also have access to IBKR's new outsourced trading desks in Europe and Asia, expanding high-conviction trading opportunities outside of North America. This service allows portfolio managers to work 24/7 with IBKR's experienced traders to develop execution strategies in a variety of instruments, including domestic and international equities, options, fixed income and more.
Interactive Brokers' hedge fund clients receive a number of benefits, including the ability to invest globally in stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds and funds from a single platform, as well as no custody fees and the ability to earn up to 4.83% on immediately available cash balances over $10,000.
