Crypto.com and Ledger integrate their services, enabling users to safely purchase and transfer cryptocurrencies directly through Ledger Live without additional steps.

In a bold move towards enhancing the ease and security of cryptocurrency transactions, Ledger has partnered with exchange Crypto.com to integrate their services. According to Ledger blog post, this collaboration introduces Crypto.com Pay functionality directly into the Ledger Live app, streamlining the process for users to buy cryptocurrencies and transfer them securely to their Ledger hardware wallets.

Previously, transferring cryptocurrencies from Crypto.com to Ledger wallets required a multistep process, involving manual copying and pasting of wallet addresses, which posed risks of errors and potential security vulnerabilities. The new integration eliminates these risks, allowing users to seamlessly purchase and transfer cryptocurrencies with just a few taps within the Ledger Live app.

“At Ledger, our goal is to allow users to do everything they want to do with crypto ownership without ever compromising on security or self-custody,” said Ian Rogers, Chief Experience Officer at Ledger.

Key features of this integration include:

- Convenience: Users can now buy and transfer cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and more in a single transaction between crypto exchange and wallet.

- Speed: Transactions are instant, without the need for extra KYC procedures for existing Crypto.com users.

- Safety: Enhanced security with reduced risk of user errors in fund withdrawal or wallet address handling.

- Cost-efficiency: No extra fees, maintaining the same prices as on Crypto.com.

- Global availability: Accessible in all countries supported by Crypto.com, excluding Japan.

Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, emphasized the importance of bringing increased utility and efficiencies without sacrificing safety and security. He stated, “This integration of Crypto.com and Ledger brings together the leading capabilities to provide users with the most comprehensive and effective crypto purchasing and transferring functionality”.

The partnership aims to drive broader adoption of cryptocurrencies by bridging the gap between trusted centralized exchanges and self-custody solutions, empowering users worldwide to take control of their digital asset journeys. The new Crypto.com Pay integration is now available on Ledger Live for both desktop and mobile platforms, offering a seamless and secure experience for all users.

As the cryptocurrency market continues to mature, such collaborations are crucial in enhancing user experiences and fostering greater confidence in digital asset transactions.
