Summary of Cooper Markets Trading Company

Cooper Markets was registered in 2018 as an International Business Company (IBC) in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an offshore zone with no Forex market regulation. Analysis of trader reviews on various platforms revealed that for three years, Cooper Markets fulfilled its trading and payment obligations to its clients.
The first negative reviews about the broker date back to May 2021. Traders complained about deceitful trading conditions provided on the official website, violations in bonus accrual rules, and delays in withdrawals. Clients were dissatisfied with the constant calls from Cooper Markets managers, guaranteeing high and stable profits,(which is impossible in financial markets and urging to increase the deposit size, which is unacceptable among reputable brokerage companies.
The official Cooper Markets website is still accessible. However, opening an account and trading with the broker is currently impossible. Blocked fund withdrawals provide grounds to categorize Cooper Markets as a scam project.

In the 4 months of collaboration with Cooper markets, I gifted these fraudsters around $500. The managers called incessantly. I blocked their calls and added their numbers to the blacklist, but they tried reaching me from other numbers. I knew they would attempt to persuade me to increase my deposit, so I intentionally ignored their calls and focused on trading. However, trading didn't go smoothly: the platform would freeze for 2-3 hours, slippages would eat up all the profit, or my orders would simply be canceled for supposedly violating some rules. In the end, I made zero profits, but I lost not only money but also my nerve cells. I definitely do not recommend Cooper markets!

When Cooper markets first appeared, it was working fairly well. It was possible to make profits, and there were no issues with withdrawing funds. However, a year later, the situation drastically changed. At first, I thought it was time to buy a new computer because the desktop MT4 constantly froze and showed errors. However, platforms provided by other brokers worked well — I tested 5 or 6 platforms. Then problems with execution started. Slippages occurred constantly, stop-losses triggered inconsistently, and the spreads on the EUR/USD widened to 10-12 pips. My patience snapped. I moved to another broker and didn't even bother withdrawing the remaining funds, as reviews indicated that it was impossible.

I fell for Cooper Markets twice. I'm not sure how these people from this shady broker got my phone number, but they called me first. That surprised me because normally managers from reputable brokerage firms don't make such calls. They pushed me to deposit at least the minimum and test what they described as premium trading conditions. I bit the bait, but the first time the stop-loss was triggered, so I only deposited $100 into the standard account. I wouldn't say everything was terrible with this broker, but the spreads were inflated. So when the manager called again and suggested trading through ECN, I agreed and deposited $3,000. I didn't get any of that money back, nor any profit — they didn't process the withdrawal.

Trading with Cooper Markets didn't go well from the start. Before opening an account, I spoke with a company representative who assured me that the Premium account would offer a wide range of stock CFDs. However, this turned out to be a lie. I accepted it and decided to trade indices, but the manager remembered my query and started persuading me to open an ECN account, claiming it had the widest selection of financial instruments. I admit, for a while, I was considering it until I tested the platform and realized that trading with Cooper Markets is not trading in the real market but a simulation. Orders closed at non-existent prices, stop losses frequently didn't trigger. Don't waste your time, look for another broker.

It's hard to call CooperMarkets a brokerage company. To me, it's a bunchh of people who want to pocket your money and blame you for their losses. Initially, they were polite, explained the terms, gave advice on strategies and indicators. But my trading consistently went into the negative, so I decided to switch to another broker. I requested a withdrawal, waited for a week — and nothing happened. I contacted support, they promised to look into it. Another week of waiting yielded no results. I reached out again, but got no response online. In a phone call, the manager accused me of violating trading rules without specifying which ones. He even raised his tone and accused me of deceiving the company.

If you've deposited money into a Cooper Markets account, bid it farewell because withdrawing it is pure fantasy. The broker's trading conditions didn't suit me from the beginning as most of my trades were canceled due to alleged violations of the minimum position holding time rules. I didn't want to argue or prove anything, so I requested the withdrawal of the remaining $200. That's when the problems started. Initially, they claimed the bank was delaying the withdrawal, although I've never encountered this issue with other brokers. I communicated them for 2 weeks. At first, the operators fed me promises, but then the chat was constantly unavailable. No responses came to my emails, and it was impossible to reach them by phone.

I'd like to warn inexperienced traders, who don't know how to choose brokers properly, against Cooper Markets. They are scammers with a well-designed website and a professional approach to luring money from novice Forex traders. I personally haven't dealt with this broker because I thoroughly examined its profile on various scam-related resources. Cooper Markets has been listed there since 2021, so I instantly spotted the deception. My suspicions were confirmed by my cousin, who shared how he gifted over $2,000 to this so-called broker. He fell for the enticing promises of better prices and super-fast executions. They also lured traders with big bonuses and fee cashback. Fortunately, I checked Cooper Markets beforehand.
