TU Overall Score
The purpose of creating the TU Overall Score is to make the search for secure and reliable brokerage companies easier for the visitors of our website. We believe that it is a very important mission as, unfortunately, not every company in the financial industry is worthy of trust.

According to our idea, the TU Overall Score indicator should answer the biggest question of all: “Can I trust this broker with my money?”. The scores range within 0.01 – 9.99 (the higher the indicator the more trust the broker has). More details

Trading instruments For this parameter, we evaluate the number of trading assets a broker offers access to in each group of financial instruments. We analyze the quotes a broker offers on Forex pairs, metals, indices, commodities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. This parameter also includes evaluation of broker’s investment programs, for example access to copy trading, which we regard as an additional type of a trading instrument.

Brand popularity Traders Union experts are confident that brand awareness mostly fully reflects the real state of affairs in a company – the more popular the broker, the more people trust it. The score for this indicator is based on the data analysis of such services as Ahrefs and SemRush, which show how often a company’s brand is searched on Google. In addition, indicators of the SimilarWeb service, which show the approximate number of visitors of the broker’s website, are also taken into consideration. We also review disclosed official reports of brokers, which allow for evaluating their client base.

7.02

/10

Customer support The score of this parameter is based on the number of available communication channels of a company’s support service. The quicker and easier it is to contact the broker’s support, the higher the score. We check every available support channel, test the speed of processing of requests and completeness of provided information through several interactions.

5.29

/10

Education This parameter provides an evaluation of a company’s capacity to work with beginners. Only quality training and provision of full and unbiased information can help novice traders and investors minimize the risks of losing money, even when working with top-ranked companies. Brokers with useful educational and informational tools, including webinars, tutorials, podcasts and articles, receive higher scores.

I’ve been using Akcenta’s financial services for several years. I exchange currencies and trade them in the form of forward trades. I like that this money can later be transferred to a bank card and used anywhere in the world, and that the date of settlement of obligations varies. The OLB online platform operates on smartphones and PCs, but I use its mobile version more. Exchange rates are broadcast in real-time and you can request a trade statement at any time. Automated trade closing, when the currency reaches the predefined rate, is very convenient.

I use forwards to protect myself from potential losses connected with unfavorable changes in exchange rates. I like Akcenta's conditions for trading futures. The company allows traders to fix the price up to one year, but a longer period can be requested on an individual basis. In my business, this is a great opportunity to reduce expenses for paying international suppliers. I also use Akcenta for ordinary currency exchange, since I like its rates, processing speed, and fees.

I trust Akcenta, since it is regulated in Hungary and Czech Republic, and is a part of Raiffeisen Bank. The choice of currencies is wide. The more the purchase amount is, the better the conditions are. Therefore, large transactions are especially profitable. I deposit both EUR and HUF, but other options are also available, which is convenient for international transfers. I use Visa and the money appears on the balance almost instantly. I withdraw funds by a bank transfer and then cash them at Raiffeisen Bank without any fees. If I don’t have time to go to the bank, I transfer money to my bank card and withdraw it at an ATM. However, there are fees for such withdrawals.

My experience of working with Akcenta and using its services is overall positive. Fees for transferring funds within the EU are minimal. Exchange rate is often better than with other Hungarian companies, but not always. If you buy a small amount of currency, the price isn’t that profitable and there are additional fees. I use the Akcenta online banking system to buy currencies for both personal needs and business. The purchased currency appears on the balance almost instantly, so you can use it immediately after making the transaction.

I buy currencies on the Akcenta web platform for investment purposes. For example, I often buy EUR when I expect its price to increase against USD, and then hold it until the necessary moment. First, I tried doing that by phone, but I didn’t like it, since online banking is much more convenient. Transaction fees are up to EUR 10 and they are not charged on amount transfers above EUR 2,500. Any amount is easily deposited from a bank card and the Akcenta multi currency account allows me to reduce expenses for depositing foreign currencies.
